Thank you for choosing Dark Desire Window Tint and Vinyl for your Security Film installation. We would like to take the time to explain the process and coverage this film provides.
Security Film is designed to delay entry to your property. This is not ballistic glass (not bulletproof). The film is applied to the glass on the inside of the building or home and is secured by Dow 995 adhesive. The bonding agent is applied to the edge of the frame and the end of the glass. Once the film has time to cure (3-5 days), this will harden the glass to delay entry as shown on the video sent during the quote.
Dark Desire Window Tint and Vinyl is not responsible for damages of any sort if there is an intrusion to the property. Again, the film is designed to delay entry. This does not mean you cannot eventually get through.
Dark Desire Window Tint and Vinyl does not compensate or reimburse for any reason once the film is applied (i.e. break-ins, scratches on film, cleaning damages, active shooter intrusion, etc.).
